I’ve been obsessed with South African designer Suzaan Heyns since I shared this pic on my Instagram.
This mesmerizing creation walked the runway at the SA Style Awards and literally took my breath away!
I guess, you could call it my love at first sight moment with Suzaan Heyns!
I practically had dreams about this dress! For days. Not hard to imagine since it is so magical and truly the stuff that dreams are made of!
I love how she mixes texture!
I mean, who would imagine that cagey leather corsets could work so magnificently with soft, feminine fabrics – like chiffon and then further complimented with bold, angelic prints?
An artist! An artist named Suzaan Heyns!
One of her more recent creations, is this amazing dress that was showcased at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week earlier this month.
I spotted it in her store at Melrose Arch and had to take a closer look.
Layers of lust!
This creation is part of her “The Wanton” – Autumn/Winter 2015 runway collection, that was inspired by Robert Graves’ poem Down, Wanton Down!
It’s another masterpiece, where she has once again mixed up different textures to create a jaw dropping work of art!
It’s a full lace dress, embellished with luxurious feathers and gold accents and further complimented with tulle.
It’s ahhhh-a-mazing!
Ahh man! I would so wear this – maybe just with a little black dress underneath so that it’s not so sheer, but just imagine it hanging in your wardrobe!
I’d kiss it goodnight, every-night 🙂
Suzaan Heyns is some kind of amazing! Visit her website for more!
