Before H&M rolled into the country, my favourite places to shop for the cosiest winter knits were at Zara and Country Road. But this season, I’m adding H&M (my fave place to shop) into my favourites selection, because their knitwear is just so friggin gorgeous!
I like to buy quality knitwear and usually look at the label to find ones that have at least some natural fibres in the mix, and I think H&M has hit the spot this season with some of their knits. And without letting go of my trusted favourites (ZARA and Country Road), today I’m showing you gals my fave pics from all three.

The cosiest winter knits from H&M
This sweater you guys! I’ve had my eye on it all summer long! Yes! Summer!
I first spotted it on Instagram, when our European friends had their winter and I was sold! So, as soon as the temperature dropped here in SA, I started the hunt!
This weekend I made this gorgeous blue baby mine, and isn’t she just so friggin pretty? Take a look at those balloon sleeves… heaven! I also love, love, love the ribbing around the neckline that’s not a polo-neck (yay) and the hole-knitted pattern.
For those of you that care about the fabric composition, this one is 40% acrylic, 25% wool, 25% polyamide and 10% alpaca, and a great find at R429.
I love the blue version, but they have the exact same style in red and then a pink “bubble” version which is also super cute!
I also fell in love with these three picks: Knitted Wool Blend Jumper (R429), Mohair-Blend Jumper (R629) and this Long Jumper in Mohair Mix (R629).
The cosiest winter knits from Country Road
Next up on my winter wish list is this beautiful rose sweater from Country Road. I love the dreamy colour and again, Country Road has so many sweaters that are made from natural fibres.
This one for example, is composed of 10% Alpaca, 20% Linen, 10% Nylon and 60% Wool and retails for R1007.76.

How cute is this Sherbert Pink Mohair Wrap Knit (R1310.39) and I love the classic style of this, 100% Merino Wool Cable Swing Knit (R1512.14). I bet that Mohair one is the warmest thing in the world!
The cosiest winter knits from ZARA South Africa
If you’re into the whole hippie vibe, then you’ll love this knit from ZARA with the cutest pom poms (R659).
I like that it’s not overly pom-pomey (is that even a word?), but just has a touch of that, oh you know, I’m a free spirit embracing winter look to it!
You gals actually have to see this one in real life to appreciate its gorgeousness. The flat lay does not do it justice!
Then, also from ZARA South Africa, and also retailing at R659 is this beautiful faux fur cuff knit. I don’t think I’ve seen a knit quite so cute actually, and if you (like me), like the whole faux fur thing but think it makes you look a little “EXTRA” then this is a great option to consider.
As you gals can tell from my selection pics, I’m over the whole Polo neck vibe this season! As much as I love a cozy polo neck, let’s be honest… polo necks and long, straight hair are just a disaster waiting to happen! HAHA
