The Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide

!!! This entry is older than two years. The information may be outdated. >>>

Stocking stuffers can be so much fun and with all the festive markets happening right now, you could probably find really cute, unique things that will make great stocking stuffers. If not, hopefully my suggestions today will inspire some ideas, and best of all you can shop them online.

I like to find stocking stuffers that are fun and Christmassy, so think yummy treats, delicious smells and cuteseys that make it all the more festive.

Ceramic Gingerbread Diffusers

Okay, so stocking stuffers should not be expensive, and I know I’ve started on the pricey side (with the most expensive stocking stuffer), but hear me out. You don’t have to gift the whole pack of three ceramic gingerbread diffusers in one stocking.

If you’re looking for cute ideas that are christmassy and fun to stuff your stockings these Gingerbread Scented Ceramic Diffusers from Zara Home (R479 – R160 each if you divide them into three stockings) will release that wonderful smell of freshly baked ginger bread cookies.

While it’s a very Christmasy smell, the scent is also warm and cozy and your gift receiver could also hang the diffuser in a wardrobe after the season and indulge in that yummy smell for longer.

Wine Sweater Cover

I can’t say that I’m into little trinkets, but sometimes, things are just too cute to not get excited about them. Even for me! Like this Wine Sweater Bag (R99.99) from Typo.

While it is (sadly) too hot in December for us to wear fun, festive sweaters, who said we can’t dress our wine in some festive fun?

Festive Socks

If you still want to be able to wear festive cheer, these cotton rich printed Christmas Anklets from Woolworths (R59.95) will let you do just that, without dying from our South African summer heat.

Hark & Heart Christmas Cookies

I don’t know what says Christmas better than authentic German gingerbread cookies, or Lebkuchen. And if you want the real, real thing then look no further than the Harck & Heart Christmas Cookie Gift Pack (R96).

This totally cute cookie collection includes about 220g of iced and decorated Christmas themed biscuits which are packaged with a cute festive ribbon. I bought myself some at last years’  Kamer’s market and I will definitely be adding more to my market shopping this year.

Sparkle Candles

I can’t think of anything more holiday appropriate than these Glitter Tea Light Candles from H&S at Superbalist (R49).

They’d make a great addition to your New Years celebration too. Score!

Nestle Kit Kat Christmas Santa Chocolate

While I love the idea of filling stockings with edible treats, you certainly won’t go wrong with festive themed candy and chocolate. How cute is this Christmas Break Nestle Kit Kat (R12.99 at Checkers)?
