After a year of online presence, we decided it’s about time StyleScoop got a fresh new face and we’re very excited about our new look.
We’ve revamped the look to make it even more fabulous to visit our website, as well as to read our scoops and navigate with ease.The new layout’s main page is divided into three sections. These run vertically down the homepage.
On the left hand panel you will find an update of all the latest scoops as they are posted. The first 4 have short snippet intro’s, while the 7 are older and allow you to click the heading to open the page. Further down on the left hand panel on our homepage you will find the top 5 most viewed posts of the day.
The middle column is dedicated to beauty. In this section you will find direct links to the hottest, beauty scoops and reviews.
On the right you will find our Editors Blog. From here you can click onto the five latest posts made by our editor. Whether she’s talking about her summer purchases, taking you behind the scenes at a photoshoot or giving you the heads up on all that is hot and happening in fashion and beauty.
Navigating the site and finding your favourite column on StyleScoop
Don’t worry if you cant find your favorite column directly from the homepage. Just click on Columns from the main navigation bar and a new page will open with all the latest posts combined from the fabulous StyleScoop columnists. If you’d like to find one that interests you, just select the current options from the subnav on the right. Each navigation link that has more sub categories will be displayed in this manner.
You can also view “Random Scoops” which refresh to give you easy ways to navigate StyleScoop on the right hand panel of navigation link page.
If all else fails, remember to use our nifty, swifty and very effective search facility, located at the top header, under the StyleScoop Logo.
We hope you enjoy this new layout and look and welcome your feedback. Please note that throughout the week we will be tweaking to make everything perfect, after all, we all know that being fabulous takes a little time.
