A Night Of Elegance Untamed

Last week, I attended the official launch party to celebrate the new look bottle for Wild Africa Cream.

The party was held at the gorgeous Tintswalo Boutique Hotel in Waterfall Estate, and it was a night filled with glamour and Untamed Elegance!

On the night, I wore a little more leopard than my usual touch of leopard, that I’ve been showcasing in my Elegance Untamed outfit posts recently.

And, even though I’ve been wearing this black midi skirt to death, I love how a simple leopard top can change up the look and match the elegant look of the new Wild Africa Cream bottle.

I took my sister in law, Louise along as my Plus1. Doesn’t she look gorge?!

The Tintswalo Boutique Hotel created the perfect backdrop for an evening of Elegance Untamed. It’s got a grand, yet truly African feel that matched the new look Wild Africa Cream bottle.

Sitting outside on the deck, we were treated to fierce music by a live DJ, whilst sipping on an award winning Liqueur. Wild Africa Cream won Double Gold at the recent 2014 Michaelangelo Wine & Spirit Awards and was named ‘Best Liqueur’ Trophy Winner.

After nibbles and as much Wild Africa Cream as we could manage, we were treated to delicious strawberry cake that paired so well with Wild Africa Cream.

To check out more pics from the night, head over to the Marie Claire Facebook Page and visit their Wild Africa Cream #EleganceUntamed JHB Album. The pics in this post (apart from the cocktail) are from Marie Claire’s album, but there are loads more!

I like  to enjoy Wild Africa Cream on its own, just as is, in a tumbler with a bit of ice. It’s my fave! But, when I got this “African-Footprint” cocktail, made with Wild Africa Cream mailed to me the other day, I really want to try it out… Perhaps for Christmas Eve dinner?.

You will need:

  • Melted dark chocolate
  • 2 measures Wild Africa Cream
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 measures milk
  • half measure orange liqueur
  • half measure KWV brandy
  • strips of orange peel dipped in castor sugar

Use the back of a teaspoon dipped in melted chocolate to create footprints on the inside of a glass. Blend the Wild Africa Cream, ice cream, milk, orange liqueur and brandy together. Pour into the prepared glass and garnish with sugared orange peel.

YUM!
