It may sound like it starts off somewhat sombre, but rather the story is quite the opposite.
Molly’s pushing wheelbarrows, looking after her three (grown) children and animals all while living the country life struggle. Then, her luck changes when a London townhouse is left for her by a deceased family member of her late husbands.
Does she leave the country and return to London?
Well I’m only a few chapters in so I can’t tell you just yet, but I can tell you that the book is funny and optimistic and very easy to escape into Molly’s world!
I particularly love her eccentric mother…
