Softlips, premium lip care brand, has launched a nationwide search for a budding red carpet reporter. Following an open audition process the Softlips Stylista will go behind the scenes at some of the countries top style events to uncover the real people and stories behind the glitz of a celebrity.
The chosen winner will be trained in the art of celebrity reporting and sent with her own web TV crew to cover A-list events from the red carpet and beyond. They will present regular web TV episodes during the summer 2010 party season supported by an extensive marketing campaign to build an audience for the show. To ensure she looks at home amongst the celebrities the Softlips Stylista will also receive a fashion makeover from a selection of YDE Designers, hair styling products from Tony & Guy and FHI Heat and the latest iPhone from Digicape.
Steve Mann, brand manager for Soflips South Africa, says: “The Softlips Stylista search is about giving an opportunity for young South African women to get behind the scenes of celebrity culture and give their own take on what it means to them. This is an amazing opportunity to give the next generation a taste of life on the A list and a voice to give their own take on style and pop culture in South Africa.”
To apply for an audition to become the Softlips Stylista, log on to www.softlips.co.za, before 30 September 2010, and follow the instructions on the nomination form. The top five entrants will be flown down to Cape Town in November for a training workshop with a guest celebrity, and a final audition. Based on their natural style, quick witted questions and on-camera performance a final decision will be made.
