“Our first liquid foundation to give a unique air-brush finish” is the tag-line surrounding this new foundation from Maybelline New York, launched in South Africa this August.
I got to try Dream Satin Liquid and I am most impressed. It’s part of the “Dream Franchise” which includes Dream Matte Powder, Dream Matte Mousse, Dream Mousse Shadow, Dream Mousse Blush and Dream Mousse Bronzer. The product comes in a pump action bottle, and two pumps covered my face almost flawlessly. It lasts fairly long and really does give an “air brush” finish – there are no signs of “cake-up” and it doesn’t melt away either.
Another thing I really like about this foundation, is with it being a fairly more affordable foundation it has the quality of the more expensive foundations, so you don’t have to skimp on quality just because you may not be able to afford a more expensive product.
The secret behind this foundation is “targeting the three most common benefits women want from their foundation”
- Texture Correction
- Tone Harmonizing
- Luminosity
Dream Satin Liquid comes in eight shades to match your skin tone and retails at around R144.95.
Guess what foundation I’m wearing today?
