I was so excited when I first heard about this book – Chic Jozi. Let me start by saying, I’m a big fan of books that have the inside scoop and little secrets on how to live a fabulous lifestyle, be it fashion, style or beauty. I can spend hours reading these types of books again and again, because they make me feel fabulous and inspired – Just like a good book should!
And Chic Jozi is no different. When I received a copy of Chic Jozi from the fabulous team over at Penguin Books, I was really excited to see that a book like this had finally been written locally. Now, although I’m a Durban girl, shopping in Jozi is far more realistic than scouring the streets of London or New York with the information from the fashionable guides that are available. In fact, after reading only a few pages of Chic Jozi, I wanted to jump on the next plane to the City of Gold, armed with credit cards and a pair of comfortable shoes, with the intention to shop till I dropped!
