MANGO, the super stylish and very on-trend Spanish label has just announced a new limited collection alongside Naty Abascal, a former model and muse to Oscar de la Renta and Valentino. The limited edition range, Chosen by Naty will feature selected garments that are based on her own personal style and taste. The collection oozes with sophistication and elegance and consists of 25 garments and eight accessories for the modern woman.

And for those of you that like to read a bit of fashion history, here’s a little background info on Naty.
Naty Abascal began her modelling career working for the Spanish designer Elio Berhanyer in New York. She would later become a cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar and set up residence in the Big Apple, where she was signed up by the Ford agency. It was here that she met Oscar de la Renta, with whom she had a long personal and professional relationship. Three years later, she met Valentino, and became his muse from this moment onwards.
Her final appearance on the catwalk was in the 80s, specifically at the launch of the first collection by the acclaimed designer Carolina Herrera, with whom she remains good friends.
Naty Abascal has always been linked to the world of fashion and art. Among other projects, she appeared in the Woody Allen film Bananas and in her youth was painted by Salvador Dalí.
