Sugar and spice and all things DELICOUS…

DKNY has launched three new yummy treats that will have your mouth watering, and your day’s filled with the smell of freshly baked cupcakes all day!

Fancy a Key Lime Tart? How about a delicious Pink Macaroon or a Creamy Meringue? It’s the best way to indulge in sweet temptations without the calories!

For this collaboration, DKNY teamed up with master pasty chef, Johnny Iuzzini to create an almost authentic New York bakery scent for their new fragrances. Each fragrance has a warm, heavenly smell that’s almost as good as eating the bakery alternative itself! They are sweet, delicious and ready to wear!

The Trio of guilt-free temptation

My favourite, DKNY Sweet Delicious Pink Macaroon which is a playful, delectable confection filled with mouth-watering accords, textural florals and a sensual creamy backdrop. Luscious Berries are iced with fluffy whipped Meringue to give a hint of edible sweetness. Rose Petals and Peonies layered with Sandalwood and Vanilla complete the recipe for an addictive treat that is hard to resist.

DKNY Sweet Delicious Creamy Meringue sets its cheerful personality with a vibrant radiance interlaced with femininity and tantalizing allure. A sparkling blend of tasty Lemon Cream anda Crepe Suzette accord entices the senses. Dewy Yellow Freesia and Jasmine Petals are layered with sensual Musk and Sandalwood for a decadently scrumptious finish.

DKNY Sweet Delicious Tart Key Lime is a splash of juicy fruits and lush greens, it exhales dazzling freshness for lots of lip-smacking fun.Blended with the succulent sweetness of ripe Apple for  bright, irresistible freshness and Ginger wrapped in feminine Violet Leaves creates an enchanting twist that captivates the senses. While a smooth cascade of Tagette and Cedarwood imparts a sensual warmth.

All three fragrances are exclusive to Foschini – R525 for a 50ml EDP

The press release for this came with a yummy, and very intensive Almond cup cake recipe, which I tried out!

The cupcakes featured in these pics are how mine turned out. Although I overcooked my meringue topping, they were still not bad for my very first cupcake attempt. Want to make them? Stay tuned to StyleScoop tomorrow where I’ll post the recipe for you – a first ever in the StyleScoop kitchen…
