Oh how we love pretty, girly things! And just how pretty (and girly) is this new summer collection from Elizabeth Arden, inspired by a whimsical mix of young and fun floral prints!
It’s called Bronze in Bloom and here’s a closer look at the collection…
Eye Colour
These limited edition eye palettes come in two gorgeous variations and are perfect for creating a light summer wash of colour on your lids. Personally, I prefer darker, more intense shades on my eyes, but if you want a subtle, sexy hint of colour, I suggest you try out these palettes. And at only R250.00 each, they are totally worth the price!
Cheek Colour
Now these I LOVE! The two variations of Pure Finish Mineral Cheek colour have moved from my desk into my permanent makeup drawer on my dressing table. They are, in one word, sensational!
To start with I love the packaging and the clever twist type pot. You just need to twist the top and it extracts a little powder without releasing more. This is great if you want to avoid messy powder explosions, often the case with loose powders. This system is also way better than the plastic sieve type containers that you get with many loose powders.
The colour on both of these is great, it gives your cheeks a really nice, glowy colour and although it looks super intense on the brush, once you blend it in, you get a beautiful, glowy skin with a hint of coral or rose. Beautiful!
Foundation
The collection also includes Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation which sadly, does not come in the same pretty floral packaging. The reason being that it is not a limited edition product like the others.
The product works in the same way as the cheek colour pots, with a twist and release system. It comes in seven shades; Sun Beige, beige, Bisque, Tan, Toffee, Shade 10 and Shade 11.
