Congratulations to third year DUT student, Tammy Sturrock who stole the limelight at this year’s Vodacom Durban July, taking home the prestigious Vodacom Durban July Young Designer Award brought to you by Canon. Tammy follows in the footsteps of her brother, Brendan Sturrock.

Bloemfontein designer, Mmuso Moilopai scooped the hotly contested Fashion Challenge title in her elegant hessian and checked ensemble that was beautifully finished with splashes of colour in the embroidery.
Tiffany Prior, Vodacom Durban July fashion coordinator, hands over the Vodacom Durban July Fashion Challenge, brought to you by Canon winner’s award to Deyi wearing Mmuso Moipolai’s creation at the 2012 Vodacom Durban July.
Second place went to Cape Town’s Teresa Joubert with an intricately quilted cream dress that was finished with a cropped red bolero and cute apple hat, and third place went to Bloemfontein’s Pierre Fourie in his aqua and blue, low back dress infused with black embellishments and burnt edges.
