Our Jo’burg winner, Lauren Spencer who won pampering for her and four fabulous friends at the ghd Style Lounge in Johannesburg, tells StyleScoop readers about her fantastic evening.
Everyone was so friendly and professional and made sure we had a fabulous evening. We arrived at 7pm and were shown into the lounge and offered this great vitamin water, champagne, chocolates, mini wraps and all kinds of yummy goodies to fill our tummies while we waited to go into hair and make up.
Then we all sat down and enjoyed a pampering make up session, which was really fun. The make up session was filled with laughs, as the professional artists kept us entertained and kept the conversation upbeat and going without any trouble. The make up products (by Benefit) that were used on the night were really good. The girls really liked the foundation products the most. And the artists were great at answering questions and educating us all about the products.
The next part of the night was one of the highlights of the evening; each girl was shown to a ghd stylist and the glam hair makeover began! Each of the girls came out looking stunningly gorgeous and very different. The ghd stylists worked with each of our hair, and proved the excellence of the ghd products, and their skills, by making each of us look great, no matter the length or type of hair we had.
I loved my stylist and the magic she did with my hair. If I could, I would love to have the ghd team do my hair for my wedding coming up early next year, because they were so professional, friendly and fun.
The products they recommended for each of our hair types have been working tremendously well since, and all of us have fallen in love with the ghd hair care range.
Next up was the photo session, this was crazy fun and we took some great shots! I am so grateful for this as when we got to the lounge I discovered that my camera battery was completely flat, but managed a couple pics on my cell thankfully.
All in all, the night was an amazing, successful experience that we will never forget!
Thank you so much.
