You’ve been hiding them all winter long, and now that summer is here, it’s time to bring your footsies out of hibernation and give them some extra love.
Why? Because they work like dogs for you and besides that, there is no point splurging on sexy summer sandals if your feet don’t look the part.
Here are some foot happy products I am loving at the moment…
CND Cucumber Heel Therapy
I am obsessed with this foot cream!
It’s the most amazing treatment cream to sort out those cracked heels and dry feet. In fact, it’s so amazing, it works equally well to sort out any dry patches on hands, knees and elbows too!
It smells like real cucumbers and leaves your feet feeling baby soft almost immediately. I had a bit of dryness on my heels (thank you winter!) and this cream got them soft after just a few days. That’s how good it is!
CND Cucumber Heel Therapy contains cucumber, chamomilla recutita, aloe barbdensis leaf juice, panthenol (pro vitamin B5) , allantoin and urea. To find out more about the benefits of these individual ingredients, check out the feature post I wrote a while back on this must have foot cream.

Rain – Biologie Foot Scrub, Foot Cream & Foot Soak
I was recently introduced to RAIN products and think they are fabulous.
Three of the products I got to play with were these amazing treats for your feet; Exfoliating Foot Scrub, Cooling Foot Cream and the Herbal Foot Soak.
All three are really good products, all made from natural ingredients that leave your feet smiling. All three contain peppermint, tea tree and Eucalyptus – the combination alone invigorates your senses.
I especially love the Foot Scrub because it’s very gentle on your feet and the grains dissolve completely. The Foot Soak is also impressive, and gives your feet a nice pre-exfoliation when used before the foot scrub.
The Cooling Foot Cream is amaze for revitalising tired feet. I even rubbed it into my legs one day after Christmas shopping and they were like ‘ahhhhhhh’.
The best thing about this range is that it can also be used on hands, and the packaging is beautiful too.
Price: Herbal Foot Soak R69 for 100g, Exfoliating Foot Scrub R89 for 90ml, Cooling Foot Cream R115 for 90ml.
Available from: RAIN Africa stores and online via their website
Skin Republic Foot Rescue
Skin Republic is well known for creating innovative face and body treatments that come individually packaged and instead of a cream in a jar, they opt for an all-in-one mask that you literally just apply. As is!
Their new Foot Rescue treatment is perfect if you want to give your feet a treat, but don’t have the time to soak your footsies or keep them up long enough to absorb the treatment before walking around.
We’re busy gals, so nobody blames you!
This treatment pack comes with little booties for your feet (one for each foot) that you just need to slip your feet into and relax. Put your feet up, watch some TV – it’s completely mess free.
Inside, the bootie is filled with a bunch of ingredients, which include 18 plant extracts to help relieve itching or inflammation. Peppermint, avocado and tea tree help to soothe flaking skin, while argain oil, collagen and vitamin E add moisture. Furthermore, eucalyptus, thyme and mint leaf have been added to tone down any redness while promoting circulation and deodorising the feet.
After 20 minutes your feet will love you!
Price: 45.99 per mask.
Available from: Red Square, Edgars and Dis-Chem.
