One Perfect Parka, 3 Stylish Looks

I’ve wanted an olive green parka for the longest time.

And I found it! I found the world’s perfect olive green parka, perfect in absolutely every way! I swear, there is nothing about this parka that I don’t absolutely love!

Who ever designed it thought about everything! The fit is perfecto. And it’s got “options”; like a zip off hoodie and zip off front panel.

The front panel is really cool! It’s made from a different fabric to the outer, which gives it great texture. Plus it doubles as an extra layer (between the buttons) to keep you warm.

The hoodie is cute with it’s tribal print. I love the drawstring waist and the front pockets, which are in just the right place.

Like I said, Perfect!

It’s from Old Khaki (the best place to find amazing quality jackets) and I was amazed to find that this beaut was only R999!

Pity they didn’t have more colours in the same style! I’d have bought them all!

I even got to meet football legend Ryan Giggs the very first day I wore my perfect parka! On a perfectly crisp Jozi morning.

Sadly, not the clearest pic, and a very rare opportunity to get another one – but hey! I got my picture taken with Ryan Giggs, and beggars can’t be choosers now can they!?

Well, this is how I like to wear my parka, with the inner front panel zipped up, the drawstring pulled and the buttons left open. I’m also obsessed with olive green and animal print mixed together!

This is just one of many ways to wear it! You could wear it all open, all zipped up, remove the front panel, remove the hoodie, cuff the sleeves!

Seriously, this is going to be my most worn item this winter.

Now, there are a ton of other ways to wear a green parka, so thought I’d spark your inner fashionista with some street style pics of these stylish ladies…

Love Camille Over The Rainbow’s look! Ripped jeans = perfection, striped tee = perfection x2, beanie = perfection x3! And she’s made it all chic and lady like with sexy heels and a clutch purse!

This one that Britt & Whit wears is a quite similar style to mine when it’s buttoned up, just with more concealed buttons. Love how she’s worn it with cuffed jeans, nude booties and a classy cream sweater.

Looking lovely in lace Like I Can’t! Love how she’s paired a edgy olive parka with a really girly cream dress! And that backdrop in the snow is mesmerizing!
