So you guys know my obsession with Inglot cosmetics?! I absolutely love, love, love their stuff and have always thought that they offer great, high quality cosmetics at decent prices!
Well, now they have an even more amazing offer, where you can grab their “Essential” products at a fraction of the cost!
The Inglot Essentials Kit offers an all in one pack of Inglot’s hot selling products, including; False Lash Effect Mascara, Under Makeup Base, Kohl Pencil and Sleeks Lip Gloss. Even better, they are offering this kit at a reduced rate of R449! The retail value of this kit is R876, so it’s a huge score!
This is a really great promotion, and a great opportunity to try the brand out if you haven’t used anything from Inglot before!
While I have millions of their eye shadows, and a couple of other products, I have never used any of the products in this kit, so it was a great chance for me to discover some amazing new products.
False Lash Effect Mascara
My fave product from this collection is the False Lash Effect mascara. I am an absolute mascara whore addict, and in all honesty, I can live without other makeup, but not mascara! I have a couple of “fave” ones in my collection, so I hardly ever stick to just one! I’ve been using this one for a about a week now, non stop – which just shows you how much I love it.
I like it because it coats my lashes with a super dark colour – resulting in the blackest-black effect. It also goes on super smooth to coat each lash without clumps, and looks very natural!
Although it does’nt look as through I’m wearing “false lashes”, it definitely gives my lashes the texture and colour of falsies – which I love! When I touch my lashes, they feel super soft and not stiff and awkward and the mascara stays on all day, without flaking off.
It dries very quickly and I found, that if I wanted to add more va-va-voom, adding a few more coats, even when it was dry, was not a problem.
Khol Pencil
Another fabulous product from Inglot! This pencil is super cool, and can be used on it’s own to create defined lines, or smudged out and used in place of an eyeshadow – both options offering a long lasting effect!
The tip is soft, but not so soft that it crumbles as you apply it. The colour is creamy, glides on and is as intense and as defined as you’d expect. I hate pencils that look really solid, but nothing comes out when you apply them!
My fave way to use this pencil is to grate it into the lash line (top and bottom) and then use an angled brush on the top lid, just to pull the colour out and blend it into the lid. Amazing product! I want to stock up on these in every colour!
Under Makeup Base
This product works as a primer. Apply it to your face before foundation to give you a nice smooth canvas to work with. It looks like it may be watery in the packaging, but it comes out nice and creamy. Just a drop of this product on the forehead, cheeks, chin and nose will give you more than enough to work with.
It leaves your skin feeling smoother and softer allowing your foundation to glide on with ease. I also found that when using this product, my foundation not only looked more blended and natural, but it seemed to last longer too! Bonus
Sleeks
I’ve used Inglot’s Sleeks Cream LipGloss before, but never their gloss type gloss! I kind of liked this one, even though it was clear. I usually like coloured glosses.
It goes on great and provides a non sticky feeling on the lips. In general lip gloss doesn’t stay very long on my lips (I guess it’s because I talk too much), but love it none the less.
This gloss can also be used to add a “glow” to the cheekbones, set your brows in place or even on your eyelids if you’re after that very trendy, “wet look” dewy lid. A great all round, double duty makeup product.
