Like many of you I am sure, I’ve got a thing for beautiful jewellery! I love a special statement piece that I can just wear and it instantly makes me feel special. Like this Larimar Open Forms Bracelet – isn’t it just incredible?
I had never heard of Larimar before, but now that I’ve been introduced this gorgeous stone, I’m obsessed.
I’ve always had a thing for blue stones like turquoise and lapis lazuli, but Larimar is just something completely different; a powerful gem that’s found only in the beautiful blue Carribean waters of the Dominican Republic.
The stone is created by volcanic activity and spiritual healers believe it to be a powerful throat chakra stone which aids in expression of emotions, balancing water, fire and energy.

Besides that, it’s a really gorgeous stone! It’s similar to turquoise, but lighter and veined with beautiful white strokes. In my pictures, the ring on my index finger has turquoises stone and you can see how different and unique it is in comparison.
