Now you know I’m a total gadget girl and iAM an Apple lover to the core, so in case you’re guessing, yes, this is something I discovered at the iStore!

I was at their Sandton store last week for their amaze-balls iPhoneographySA exhibition/ event, and I noticed all the cool kids (ya loads of those at the iStore) with bright coloured things dangling around their necks.
What were they?

Meet the Q-PIC Selfie Shooter…
If you’re into taking selfies -who isn’t these days- then you’ll find this little bad boy a total life saver.
No more having to stick out your arm in an awkward position to take a selfie. No more hand cramps trying to twist your wrist in the most unnatural position, just to get that shot with your back camera.
Just pair your device (and yes Android nerds, it will work on your complicated devices too) using bluetooth, pose and press!
Viola, perfect, in focus (most impressive feature of all) selfie!
Pressing the button super light will focus the shot. Pressing down all the way will take the shot. If you hold it down without releasing the shutter, you’ll have multiple shots! And you don’t even need a fancy camera hey!
The Q-PIC Selfie Shooter comes in a variety of funky shades, including; pink, blue, orange, green and for the more discreet, black.
It’s a small, lightweight remote made of plastic that fits into it’s own rubber coated “carry bag” and a matching, flexible silicone lanyard to keep it close to snap those selfies.
It has a 10 meter range, so you can perfect those group moments without being the dork with the awkward arm sticking out.

These literally hit the iStore in Sandton the day of the iPhoneography launch and by the time I left, I noticed a ton of peeps sporting a Q-PIC Selfie Shooter around their neck.
