Nothing can quite compare to being in a room, filled with sunglasses!
I mean, it’s a dangerous place for a sunglass addict like me to roam free, but at the same time, it feels so right!
I got a chance to take a peek at the new sunglass styles coming our way from all the fabulous Luxottica brands at their recent Buyers’ Days…
So let’s start with some beauts from Dolce & Gabbana…
Dolce & Gabbana know how to do wow! I mean WOW!
Those first shades… gorgeous and very typically Dolce & Gabanna! I love the second and third pic too! Leopard Print is a true Dolce & Gabbana signature, while the polka dotty shades, have me singing, itsy bitsy tiny weeny polka dot bikini… (just change it from yellow to red okay!)
And then there was Prada…
Prada’s are my fave sunglasses. Chic, stylish and they always have the most amazing temple (the little arm thingie, – read my Sunglass anatomy post so that you know how to correctly refer to each piece).
They’ve nailed the amazing temple once again and I love how they’ve mixed up the colours as well.
Prada Baroque is back with a blinged out look! I absolutely love this style! But, sadly they look terrible on me! If you can pull them off, then why aren’t you wearing them is all I’m saying?????
These caught my eye immediately, and I desperately wanted them to suit me, but I guess, we just have to accept some things hey?
I put this pic up on my Instagram and you guys confirmed, they’re a no-no! (Im wearing them in the bottom left pic).
Anyhoo! Onto something a little bright and funky…
Can you get a load of that! Ga-Ga-Gorgeous!
No wait, Ga-Ga Gorgeous belongs to these Versace sunglasses…
They are not just Lady Gaga-esque sunglasses, they are the Monster Mother’s sunglasses, designed by her friends over at Versace (she’s their ambassador in case you didn’t know).
And they come in different colour options too, but the black is my fave!
Moving onto some Giorgio Armani beauts!
The first style are totally cool and retro but modern if you know what I mean?!
And the second lot are beautiful! Love the beige pair!
And now… Ray-Ban!
It’s hard to believe that an iconic brand like Ray-Ban, that’s been around for ages, still manages to make cult classics (like the Wayfarer) totally lust worthy!
I love how Wayfarers look on others, but I have not been able to master this trend! Until I saw these that is!
Its amazing how a different coloured frame can change the whole look of the glasses!
Ray-Ban are going big on texture this time round, with gorgeous fabrics being added to their frames.
Ah ha! Fabrics!
There are these, Wayfarers that have been fused in (I think it’s seven) layers of real denim! Definitely worth a look and very cool!
You’ll also notice lots of bright and striking velvet frames from Ray-Ban in blues, orange, yellow and purple. I totally love these retro cool Erica’s! Purple Please!

Colour, contrast and stand out temples!
This is one brand that I’ve recently discovered (my first pair being the Charlotte Ronson for Vogue Eyewear) and for the price, VOGUE sunglasses offer affordable luxury for everyone!
Now all that’s left is to try and decide which is my favourite! But I can’t!
