As we head into the last few hours of 2015, I thought today would be the perfect time to look back on the year that was, and share some of my fave moments.
The great thing about blogging and sharing online is that I can access everything I’ve loved enough to blog about so easily. Plus I love looking back on moments that stood out for me and almost going with them on another trip down memory lane.
Best Moment…
My trip to Dubai earlier this year has without a doubt, been the highlight of my blogging year.
I got to see and experience Dubai like a true rock-star (thanks to Dubai Tourism and Marketing Commerce South Africa) and although I had been to Dubai before, this trip only made me fall in love with this beautiful Middle Eastern gem.
We got to stay in some amazing places, including the chic and stylish Fairmont Dubai and the breathtakingly beautiful Madinat Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel. We enjoyed a majestic Desert Safari, a Private Yacht cruise around the Dubai Marina, a grand tour and high tea at the seven star Burj Al Arab, a tour of the beautiful Armani Hotel and a visit to the top of the Burj Khalifa – the tallest artificial structure in the world.

I know I don’t do many OOTD posts, but looking back on the year, these four are my fave looks…

Best Beauty
Hello tough one! You gals know I am not one to share anything with you that I don’t love myself, so picking my top beauty faves for the year is a tough, tough, tough one!
I get to try out many fabulous brands, but these seven features that I’ve posted really stood out for me in 2015…
- Obsessed, obsessed, obsessed with Chanel CC Cream. It’s my absolute fave product and a perfect “all-you-need” beauty treatment and flawless face product.
- Favourite nail collection has got to be Essie Summer 2015. Every SINGLE colour!
- Fave fragrance is another really TOUGH one, but if I had to choose one fragrance to wear all year round, I’d go with Splendid Wood from the YSL Oriental Collection. Although, this summer I’ve been wearing Supreme Bouquet a heck of a lot.
- L’OCCITANE Whipped Shea Butter Range. OMG! Swoon!
- I’ve loved and still love my Clarisonic
- Skincare fave, would have to be Filorga Perfect+ Serum, because it’s amazing!
- My favourite candle, would have to be Yankee Candle Fluffy Towels. I’ve gone through two already.
Best Hair
For my hair besties, I really can’t pick a single “fave” range either since, this year I’ve loved four in particular. Although I was sent these to review for the blog, they’d be top of my list for hair products to purchase for myself…
- Pureology Smooth Perfection range and the amazing Fabulous Lengths treatment! Both have changed my hair game for good!
- Moroccan Oil Smooth Range
- Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oleo Complex
- L’Oreal Professionel Techni Art Hollywood Waves
