Today I’m super excited, because I get to show you gals some of the hot new sunglass styles on offer from Luxottica’s brands!
I love them all so much… and as I always say, a girl can never have too many shoes, perfumes or sunglasses!

Dolce & Gabbana
First up, Dolce and Gabbana. The new range from the Italian powerhouse is absolutely jaw dropingly beautiful. Sophisticated, elegant and ladylike, but all while maintaining a serious glam factor…
One of the biggest statements I’ve noticed Dolce & Gabbana making, are square frames. Whether simple square frames, or really extravagant ones that have beautiful hand made roses embellishing the entire frame!
These kinda remind me of a heavily frosted cake! I just want to eat them up!
It’s all about the detail, with gorgeous temples, encrusted with cute and a little quirky bling-bling!
Kinda obsessed with these (real) lace shades! At first, I thought the colour wouldn’t match my dark hair, but surprise, surprise… they are winners!
Absolutely loving these floral options… Go all out with floral prints throughout your frames, or opt for more subtle versions (like the back pair) that have simple black frames in front, with a surprise floral detail hidden inside.
The second pair from the back has lovely purple metallic mirror lenses…. so summer!
PRADA
Prada…. oh Prada you beauty!
I love Prada! I just find their sunglasses sturdy, trendy, not too OTT and they usually have the best temples, in my opinion at least!
How HOT is that sweat bar on these? I’m sold – hook, line and sinker!
I love the new styles of sunglasses that have this really prominent sweat bar and styles of previous Prada’s (and Miu Miu’s for that matter) haven’t looked good on me. But these… I am obsessed with!
These are called PRADA CINEMA and they are from the Prada FW13 Special Project for women, enriched by sophisticated tones. Raw elegance, for a lady able to play with different personalities, in a modern and ironic way.
LOOOVE THEM!
They come in black (my fave), brown and then this really cool and different burgundy/ purple shade.
Also mildly obsessed with these Prada’s. That shape is gorgeous!!!!
Ray-Ban
Okay, now onto Ray-Ban! Ray-Ban dominates my sunglass collection because man, oh man they are so friggin hot right now and although not cheap, they aren’t crazy expensive either.
There are so many cool takes on the classic styles, you’ll have a hard time choosing!
I like these pinkish standard size Aviators (left) a lot, but I love, love, love these Clubmasters (right) with wooden top bars.
Wood is big business, and you’ll see it in a lot of the new collections.
I think I need a pair, or two or five!
Round Ray-Ban shades with different coloured mirrored lenses are also hot of the presses; funky and totes cool!
Versace
Versace have some beautiful shades as well. These two caught my eye…
I’ve never found a pair of round sunnies that suit me, but I kinda love these on the left. And the ones on the right, are beautiful!
Bold and striking with a serious Rock Medusa logo on the sides of the temple. Rock Medusa in case you’re wondering, is the bold and iconic Versace emblem.
Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani frames are taking on a seriously fun take…
It’s all about the stripes… Stripes everywhere!
This pair on the left is pretty dang awesome, me likey – a lot! And the pair on the right screams a day at the yacht club! Pity I didn’t have these when we were cruising around the Dubai Marina. That would have been awesome.
VOGUE
These Vogue sunnies look seriously expensive don’t they? I love the purple frames… need!
Michael Kors
I’d love to be rocking these frame-less Michael Kors sunnies!
Burberry
Burberry will always be beautiful, and their sunnies are all about keeping them iconic and true to the brand, but always trendy!
Cute stripe detail on the temple, and now beautiful is that colour?!
And these caught my eye straight in a big way!
The temple detail is inspired by the iconic Burberry trench – another must have item that I I’d love to own one day (when I’m big… :))
