Layered Necklaces
A lot of you girls have been asking me about the necklaces that I’m wearing in my profile pic (the same one I wore on this post and on instagram yesterday). Aren’t they just beautiful? Both are from Georgini, an Australian jewellery brand (that’s available from various retailers in South Africa – as well as via their local online store) and they have some truly beautiful pieces; some bold, some dainty, some intricate and some brightly coloured as well. I’ve slowly been trying to build my jewellery collection into something that I love. Bit by bit, I’m adding quality necklaces, rings and especially earrings, because…

Be sure to stick around, as I’ve got a give away coming up soon… the prize however, will remain a secret until the giveaway goes live. But trust me, you won’t want to miss out! Of course, for my first piece of Thomas Sabo,…

If you’ve always loved the idea of a locket, but aren’t too fond of the vintage photograph type, then you will love this modern take. A locket that speaks to the twenty- first century…

When I was a kid I had a charm bracelet. Every year, my parents would add to it, so that eventually when I grew up, I’d have quite a collection of charms and a chunky bracelet. The funny thing is, that now that I’m older, I can’t remember the last time I wore my charm bracelet. It’s been sitting in the safe for ages, and either I’m too scared to wear it (in the fear of losing one of my charms) or maybe it’s just not “my style” anymore. Either way, I don’t wear it. This is strange, since you probably already know…
View PostFab Find Friday – Earring Stands
So you guys know my obsession with organising and storing my stuff! Always on the hunt for new and clever ways to organise, I found these amazing little earring stands that are a must for every gal! How do you guys store your earrings? I must say, mine were a total mess! I had them all over the place, constantly buying more because I could never find them, forgotten about them, or lost the butterflies – how annoying! That was until I discovered these… Handy little earring stands that I picked up at Dischem for under R50 bucks! I love…
View PostFab Find Friday – Bling-a-ring-a-rosy
I’ve always been a bling, bling girl – ok not always, but I’ve been told (by the source) that my mom has fond memories of me in pre-school (those days it was still called nursery school) wearing not one, but every single plastic bangle, necklace and ring I owned – all at once. She used to call me “Bijoux” and say that my teachers could hear me, ding-ling and dangling miles away. My bling-blinging slowed down for a good couple of years, and slowly started up again when I was 18 and worked part time in a jewellery store, that…
