The February Wishlist

!!! This entry is older than two years. The information may be outdated. >>>

Hello February! Firstly, what happened to January? I swear, I blinked and it was gone! Either I’m getting old, far too quickly, or time is on sport mode! Since time ran away from me and I didn’t get a chance to post my wish-list/ want list for January, today’s post is my first wishlist of 2017…

Liquid Moondust

I was so impressed with the new Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow in Chem Trail which I got to sample, and now I want more! I’m not all that big on liquid eyeshadows, but this one is B-E-A-oooootiful!

I love the sparkly effect it gives my lid, and it’s sparkle sans the powder so it looks more flawless and stays put!

This one is in the shade ZAP and there are a total of 9 shades available for you to feast your eyes! I also want Solstice – a slightly pinkish moondust.

Fitbit Pendant

My current Fitbit Charge has served me well this past year, but it’s starting to look a little tatty. It still works like it’s supposed to, but considering I wear it every single day, it’s starting to look a little sad. I’ve been a really good girl when it comes to wearing it, and one of the main reasons is because I like to track my sleep patterns… that and I also love cashing in on my Vitality rewards.

Personally, I much prefer my Fitbit Charge to the old gen Fitbit Flex which I had before that, because of the call notifications feature, BUT now the new Fitbit Flex 2 has me wanting to go back to the way of the Flex!

It’s not that the tracker is that much different to the old generation Fitbit Flex, but have you seen the cool jewellery customisations that come for the new Fitbit Flex 2 tracker?

I often hide my Fitbit in my handbag when going out because it looks too sporty on my wrist, but hiding it in this Gold necklace would be so much more stylish. You also get the bangle pendant, so you can style it your own way.

I could do with both. Hehe! The jewellery Fitbit accessories come in gold, silver rose gold.

Cute PJ’s

I’ve got a thing for PJ’s! My favourite kind are long pants (summer or winter) but most importantly, ones that have ribbing on the ankle. This set from H&M is adorable, and exactly what I want! I’m the kind of girl who sleeps with the whole duvet in summer, because I’ve got a hot hubby who likes to sleep with all the windows open, and I like to be cozy.

I bought this other cute set of PJ’s from H&M in December and for under R300 buckaroos they are such great quality!

Micro Perry Satchel

Earlier this week, I told ya that there would be a very high chance of more Rebecca Minkoff handbags finding their way on my wishlists, and now that the brand is in South Africa, I can wish a little more with the intent of actually scratching it off my list.

This little beaut, the Rebecca Minkoff Micro Perry Satchel is just the bag I have on my radar at the moment.

Love the pretty pink shade, that would match my Cleo Wallet on a Chain perfectly and the style of the RM Micro Perry Satchel reminds me so much of the Givenchy Antigona – a bag that I want, but lets be serious, who could afford that price tag? Last time I checked, the Antigona was close to $2500 (so over R33 400!). The Micro Perry Satchel, is just as beautiful, made from real leather and costs R4 995.00 (available at selected Stuttafords – more details here).

PLUS I really love all my Rebecca Minkoff bags and think the quality is well worth the price – Sure they are a little on the expensive side, but they are still affordable and I can save up for them! Unlike the Antigona – which I’m sure I’d only get after about 15 years of saving!

Mango Trousers

Even though I’m a jeans girl through and through, I’ve been looking for a pair of tailored black trousers with a nice ankle detail. Although you can’t see them so well in my picture, these Slit Hem Trousers from Mango are perfecto.

You’ll be able to see how nicely they sit on the ankle on Mango’s website. They’re even on sale! From R749 to R499.

I need them!

Badged Shacket

I spotted this shirt/ jacket (AKA Shacket) in the window at Forever New the other day and I could immediately feel the butterflies in my tummy! I’ve got a thing for the whole cargo/ military green trend and love this colour so much! I particularly love how the olivey/dirty green pairs with pink (like how I styled a similar jacket on this post) and even though I have a few olive green pieces in my wardrobe, this shacket would make a lovely addition.

How cute are the little flower details?

Also mildly obsessed with the oversized breast pockets and the drawstring waist.

Whew! So many things on le wishlist – better start saving!

What do you gals think of these pieces? Which ones do you think I should go for first? Also comment below and tell me what’s on your wishlist at the moment! March is my birthday month, so I need to start thinking of more lust worthy things 🙂
