Whoever said traveling was not fabulous clearly hasn’t laid eyes on the fabulous new, limited edition travel collection from Tumi!
For the this collection, Tumi partnered with artist John “Crash” Matos, who started his career by tagging subway trains and dilapidated buildings (yes, graffiti) when he was 13. Matos took his art to canvas in 1978 and presented his first one-man show in 1981.
Now his art can be seen in this uber trendy, uber stylish and of course, uber smart travel range. Included in the limited edition Tumi Tag range is an iPod case and four packing cases including; a 20″ international carry-on, a two-wheeled 20″ international carry-on, a 25″ medium trip packing case and a 29″ extended trip packing case
Like all Vapor cases, the Tumi Tag collection features a high performance, triple-layer ABS polycarbonate shell made of ABS polycarbonate alloy to be lightweight, yet durable. The cases are constructed with lightweight wheels, aircraft grade aluminum dual tube, patented X-Brace 45™ handles, and lighter top and side handles. Vapor cases also feature protective rubber bumpers that reduce the signs of wear. Intelligently organised and fully lined, within the spacious interiors certain styles feature removable garment sleeves and tie down straps.
Beginning March 2011, the Tumi Tag Limited Collection will be available in Tumi stores across the country. I’d die for one!
